Goddess of Fertility Day is celebrated before the spring equinox (the first day of spring) and not only celebrates fertility but life and rebirth as well. The most well known goddess of fertility is the ancient Greek goddess Aphrodite. Egyptians called her Isis and the Romans called her Venus. Symbols associated with this holiday include Easter Eggs and Rabbits. The patron saint of Motherhood is Saint Gerard Majella and St. Rita of Cascia is the patron saint of Infertility and Parenthood.
