Darwin Day celebrates the birthday of Charles Darwin who was born on February 12th, 1809. His 1859 book On the Origin of Species proposed the theory of natural selection that changed the way that we looked at nature and evolution. Celebrate today by going to the zoo or watching a program on nature.
