About the Holiday

Ex Day is a day to reconnect with an ex-boyfriend or ex-girlfriend. Some breakups happen for a reason and should be left broken. Though, with some breakups there may be unfinished business and potential.

This holiday was created in 2008 by the CBS TV show, The Ex List, and 1-800-Flowers to promote the TV Show, in which the main character has been told by a psychic that she already met and dated her soulmate and she goes off on a quest to find him.^[1] Even though Ex Day has a promotional origin, it could be a fun holiday to celebrate -- if you're single ;).
