Gingerbread House Day is during the holiday season which is a perfect time to make (and then eat) a Gingerbread House. Many stores now have Gingerbread House kits that include all the supplies you need to make a perfect Gingerbread house. The art of making Gingerbread houses seems to originate in Germany and no coincidence there is the German fairytale Hansel and Gretel where a witch lives in a Gingerbread House. The herb ginger is often used for stomach problems especially motion sickness or morning sickness. It may also relieve arthritis, bronchitis, etc.
