The most famous ground hog is Punxsutawney Phil. Each year on February 2nd all eyes are on Phil and his prediction for an early spring or a longer winter. The residents of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, say he has never been wrong. If Phil comes out and sees his shadow, that means six more weeks of winter. If he doesn't see his shadow, it means an early spring. It's said that 90% of the time Phil sees his shadow.
