If it's not feeling like that wonderful time of the year, perhaps it's because you'd rather be celebrating Humbug Day. Humbug Day, if you're so inclined, is a great day to leave the holiday cheer to the others and go into hiding with a Scrooge or Grinch DVD -- just don't watch the ending as it could spoil your mood.

On the other hand, if you happen to be in full swing of the holiday spirit, you could use this day to attempt to bring some holiday cheer into someone else's life who may not be quite so cheery (though, tread carefully, the humbugs can be feisty). Or, you could celebrate Look on the Bright Side Day, which also happens to be on this day.
