About the Holiday
DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO TYPES LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME? THEN INTERNATIONAL CAPS LOCK DAY IS THE HOLIDAY FOR THEM. HOPEFULLY THOSE THAT DO THIS EVERYDAY CAN SOON JOIN THE REST OF US AND ONLY CELEBRATE THIS DAY ONCE A YEAR. A STUDY IN 1955 SHOWED THAT ALL CAPS TEXT REDUCED READING SPEED BY 9.5-19%.[1]
Some also celebrate this day on June 28th. This holiday was started as a parody by Derek Arnold in 2000.[2]
