With life being so busy these days, International Picnic Day is just the day to remind us to slow down and take some time to enjoy the simpler things in life. We've been unable to locate the origins of this holiday, though, it's mid-June timing makes sense. In most parts of the country, this time of the year is typically good picnicking weather. And, with it's proximity to Father's Day it's a good time for family get-togethers.
