On National Egg Nog Day, we raise our glass to celebrate with this festive drink that's enjoyed in many ways during the holidays. The typical Egg Nog contains milk, cream, sugar, and beaten eggs. Egg Nog is primarily enjoyed during the holiday season and many recipes include serving it with cinnamon. There are also many alcoholic versions; one of which is to add a shot (or two) of spiced rum. It can be served either cold or hot, and you can even get Egg Nog-flavored Ice Cream.
