About the Holiday
National Inane Answering Message Day is a day to remove those cheesy, annoying answering messages that makes the person calling want to hang up. You know, the messages with the entire family speaking together or the toddler that can barely speak clearly, or people singing or playing an instrument, or those people that think their witty with cutesy messages like... "Hi! I'm not home right now. I'm currently screening my calls. So start talking and if I want to talk to you I'll pick up the phone. If I don't pick up leave a message and wait by your phone until I call you back." If your message contains any of these, then celebrate by deleting that message and creating one that will not annoy people when they call.
