On National Kitchen Klutzes of America Day, we honor those who try and try again with Paula Dean intentions, but somehow always seem to end up with Charlie Brown results. On this day, we pay tribute to that can-do spirit as practice does make perfect -- eventually.
Many now-expert grandmas (who's mastery of the kitchen has reached legendary status) will confess that their initial exploits were on many occasions less than masterful, and on others downright humorous. Hang in there and remember your tales as motivation for your future pupils. And in the meantime, you may want to consider switching to less expensive servingware and keeping your favorite delivery places on speed dial. Having a well concealed first aid kit nearby probably wouldn't be a bad idea either.
