About the Holiday
National Nothing Day is a day to celebrate, honor, and observe nothing. This holiday was created back in 1973 by Harold Pullman Coffin a postal worker who wanted a day where people didn't have to celebrate anything.
So how do you celebrate this wonderful holiday? Based on the founder's intentions, it would seem that this day should be like any other day, no celebrations or special actions. Though, it could be argued that the name Nothing Day could imply that one could use this day as a reason to put off doing things and do nothing for the entire day. Though, then that would turn this day into something. We're confused, we've got NOTHING!
