Chicken Boy Day which is said to be the birthday of the Chicken Boy and is celebrated by all that loved him. Chicken Boy was a roadside icon erected top of a Los Angeles fried chicken restaurant in the 1960s. He was a 22 foot boy with the head of a chicken holding a fried chicken bucket. He was a famous landmark on Route 66 for many years. When the restaurant went out of business Chicken Boy was rescued and now lives in seclusion.
