About the Holiday
You should always tell the truth and be honest but if usually do not you really should today because it is Honesty Day. On this holiday, we celebrate those that are honest and honorable in their workplace and personal life. This day was created by M. Hirsh Goldberg (former press secretary for a governor in Maryland) in the early 1990s. He spent several years researching and writing his book The Book of Lies. He felt that since April starts with a day of lies (April Fool's Day) it should end on a higher moral note of honesty and virtue. Don't be the boy who cried wolf, be an "honest Abe".
