National Gumdrop Day recognizes the original gummi, the gumdrop. A somewhat old-fashioned candy, it is still a favorite of many. It also spawned a series of fun new candies ranging from familiar gummi bears, worms, fish and sharks to the lesser known gummi pizzas, burgers, alligators, dinosaurs, frogs, clown fish and more. Celebrate by having something gummi!
