About the Holiday
National Sibling Day is a day to appreciate and honor that special bond between brothers and sisters. This holiday was started by Claudia Evart, the founder and director of the Siblings Day Foundation. She lost two of her siblings early in life due to accidents. The date April 10th is the birthday of her late sister Lisette. Today is a perfect day to call or write your sibling, invite them to dinner, or if they are deceased perhaps visit their grave or reminisce with pictures.
