About the Holiday
Peeps Day celebrates those yummy sugar coated marshmallow treats. While peeps are around for Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine's Day the most popular are the yellow or pink little chick ones you see during the Easter season. The Easter peeps are likely on sale now. Peeps "were born" in 1953 at Just Born and in 1954 Bob Born created a special machine that could mass produce the marshmallow chicks.
