Happy Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving Day, also known as Turkey Day, is celebrated by giving thanks for all things, spending time with friends and family, watching parades and football on TV, and eating to much food. Thanksgiving has origins traced to ancient harvest festivals of Europe. The American Thanksgiving History began with the Pilgrims sailing to Plymouth Rock, Massachusetts, to escape religious persecution in England. Thanksgiving began as a very religious a time to give thanks God and a plenty harvest.
